Our mission

We believe everyone deserves more than a chatbot. You deserve a private AI companion that learns your life, remembers what matters, and supports your growth — without ever compromising your privacy.

Lata Sharma, Founder & CEO of PoCo

A note from our founder

Why we built PoCo

I started building technology to help keep people physically safe when I was 19. That work became ImSafeNow. Over the years, I learned something important: safety is not only physical. It is mental, emotional, and deeply personal.

PoCo was born from that belief.

We are living in a time where AI is becoming part of our everyday lives. But I do not believe AI should become another loud, overwhelming feed. I believe AI should help us feel less overwhelmed, not more distracted. It should remember what matters, help us plan what's next, and support us in the moments when life feels heavy.

PoCo is not just a chatbot. It is a private AI companion built around you — your goals, your routines, your memories, your emotions, and your life. It is designed to help you move forward with more clarity, more confidence, and a little less weight on your shoulders.

We built PoCo around one simple promise: your private life stays private. Your conversations are encrypted on your device. The keys belong to you. The companion belongs to you.

What we believe

The principles that shape every decision we make about PoCo.

Companion, not chatbot.

PoCo is built to know you over time, not to entertain a moment. Memory of your goals, routines, and important dates is the product — not a side feature.

Private by default, not by request.

Encryption isn't a setting you opt into. It's how PoCo works.

Specialized helpers, coordinated.

One model trying to do everything is loud and shallow. Focused helpers for planning, habits, reminders, reflection, and emotional support are calm and useful.

Multimodal because life is.

Talk, type, or share a moment — your day doesn't fit in one input box.

Honest about AI.

PoCo is not a therapist, doctor, or crisis line. It's a thoughtful companion. We make those limits clear, every time.

Your data is yours.

We don't sell it. We don't rent it. We collect the minimum we need to make PoCo useful, and you can delete it any time.

How we build

Privacy & safety, by design

We practice data minimization: we only collect what a feature needs. We don't sell or rent personal data. You can delete your account and your data at any time.

Read our Privacy Policy
  • Messages are encrypted on your device before transmission
